About Global KidCost Calculator

Free, transparent parenting-cost estimates for families worldwide

Why we built this

Raising a child is one of the largest financial commitments a family makes, yet the numbers are scattered, country-specific, and hard to compare. Global KidCost Calculator exists to give parents a clear, comparable, and free estimate of what it costs to raise a child from birth to age 18 — across cities and countries.

What we do

How our estimates are modeled

Every figure is a structural estimate built from a city base cost, a regional cost-structure archetype, a private-school premium, and a multi-child discount. We do not pull live quotes. Full detail, including limitations, is on our Methodology page. Our reference frameworks are listed on the Sources & References page.
